Wonderful Thanksgiving
We went to the farm this Thanksgiving to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We had a wonderful time! Uncle Paul also came home to do some deer hunting. The kids would ask their Uncle every evening if he got a deer. Trevor was so excited to go on tractor rides with Papa and even helped Papa move some branches down in the pasture. Tyler wasn't very interested in putting on winter gear, so he spent time with Grandma in the house. Both kids love doing projects out in the heated workshop. They kept busy hammering nails into a cardboard box and found it to be very fasinating looking through papa's screw and bolt drawers. There's not a day that goes by that the boys don't talk about the farm. Trevor took the tires off one of his cars yesterday and told me he needed to go to the workshop to fix it. It was very cute!

Trevor make such an adorable monkey and was very happy wearing his costume!! The kids had a blast going from house to house getting candy and after they were given candy they said "Thank You" without us even having to remind them! I was so proud of them!!! Mommy and Daddy has so much fun watching the boys excitement as they ran up to each house saying Trick or Treat... It was a wonderful time!!!

Safari Adventure
Straw Maze
Halloween Festivities
We had a fun- filled day at Green Barn garden/nursery today. They had a whole area set up with a staw maze and a huge corn pit for kids to play in. The maze was So neat. The boys were each given a net to collect 8 small(pretend) critters that were in various corners in the maze, and each corner had a different theme. It was so fun watching the boys excitment when they found a critter. The boys were so proud each time they collected a different critter and had a blast walking all around in the maze. The boys were not all that crazy about the corn pit, being that they sunk down into the corn. They told Daddy to go get the trucks and bring them back to the edge..... so Daddy crawled in and got the trucks!!! It was also very nice because we had the whole place to ourselves. Just minutes before I guess a whole bus load of ECFE kids were there.. so we just missed the huge crowd.

Duluth Trip
We had a Kid Free trip to Duluth this past weekend, which was awesome!!!!! Pauls work sent him there for a convention, which was filled with meetings... But mommy had a VERY relaxing time going between the hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, and exercise room. Not to mention the 45 minute baths I took each morning with candle light!!! What a treat!!!!!!!! This was the best vacation ever... I ventured out to do some shopping down Superior street and of course found a great coffee shop.. Paul and I were able to meet for lunch the first day and that was very nice... The morning of the second day we went out to breakfast on the 15th floor of the radission hotel, where the view was magnificent. The whole upper level was rotating around to give a great view of the water and boats. I spent more than an hour up there just sitting with a pot of coffee.. It was wonderful!!!! Then on the second day we went to the Ervin haunted ship, which was horrible.. I knew it would be scary.. but had no idea it would be this scary!!! I screamed through the whole thing and was SO glad to get out of there!!!! Then we stopped to get a few drinks at the bar and went back to our hotel for an evening swim... The next night the convention put on a dance, which was alot of fun.. We were out past midnight- which isn't somthing you get to do in our every day life... so this was also a GREAT treat!!!! My mom came up to watch the kids- so I knew they were in great care. I did call home alot to check on them- but thats to be expected being I am hardly ever away from them. It was a much needed trip and the boys had a blast with Grandma!!!
PUMPKINS
We grew our own pumpkins this year and had a wonderful crop. The kids and I had alot of fun this fall going out and looking through the pumpkin patch. Neither of the kids had much interest in carving their pumpkin this year... but they did have fun watching daddy carve a neat face in the pumpkin and then watching the pumpkin glow in the dark. They thought that was very neat!!! and Trevor even gave the pumpkin a kiss!!

More Fun on the FARM
The boys had alot of fun digging for potatoes out in the garden. For being his first time, Trevor sure did great using the potatoe fork. He would dig up a potatoe and hand it to grandma to put in the bowl. It was SO delicious eating all the fresh veggies from the garden and it was VERY fun picking all the stuff too!!!!!
Then after lunch, we went for a trailer ride down to the pasture to watch the cows. The boys had a blast going for the ride and they were so excited when they saw all the cows!!!!
Uncle Paul gave the boys some of his old Trucks that he used to play with when he was young. Trevor and Tyler very gentle with the trucks and would say that "these were Uncle Pauls".. He thought that was very neat!!!!!
Watch out Grandma!!!! Here come 2 jumping boys!!! The kids had so much fun jumping into our arms from up on the rock wall... It sure was challenging when they both decided to jump at once!!!!!

Gophers on the Farm
Tyler and Trevor learned about Pocket Gophers and how to catch them. They walked with their shovels along with Pappa to help dig out of the gopher hole and they saw how to set a trap. It was very cute!!!
Grandma found a walking stick along the side of the garage and our brave Trevor let it crawl up his arm. Tyler stepped back very quickely and said "I don't want it".......

Getting ready for the campfire!!!!!
Trevor amazed us all as he picked up a HUGE log and hauled it over to the tractor!!! As he was carrying it, he said "It's Heavy"... It was SO cute to watch and I still can't believe that he was able to pick up a log that large and heavy.... Trevor told grandma this morning that he is strong, as he took out a whole gallon of milk out of the fridge.... For such a little guy- he is VERY VERY strong!!!!!
Helpers
The boys did so many fun things out on the farm. Of course, Trevors highlight was riding with Papa on the tractor!!! They helped grandma pick corn and tomatoes from the garden. Tyler found a baby corn cob and stood there so proud as he husked it. Trevor would walk out into the garden each morning scouting out tomatoes. He still hasn't realized that green cherry tomatoes aren't quiet ready to eat!!! Uncle Paul was also out visiting this week and Trevor sure found him to be interesting. Trevor had seen Uncle Paul pick a pepper out of the garden earlier that day, so while we were sitting around the camp fire Trevor wondered into the garden and picked one for Uncle Paul.. It was VERY cute!!!!
