Trevor Monkey

I was in the living room and heard a crash in the kid's bedroom. I didn't hear any immediate cries so I knew no one was hurt... When I got into the room Trevor started to cry and pointed at the container that had fallen. He was trying to talk through his cries as if trying to tell me what happened. I realized that he had a wet diaper and was trying to get a wipe and diaper out of the bin when it fell... I knelt down and he climbed in my lap and knew everything was ok. It was just so precious that he was so sincere about had had happened....

Many new words

Tyler and Trevor, you have learned TONS of new words over these past weeks. You both can say jacket so clear, which really has impressed me. You demonstrated this to Grandma Nancy this past weekend when you grabbed her jacket off the couch and handed it to her. You told her Jacket Bye. It was so precious!!!! but I am sure your Grandma didn't think so.

We spent Sunday night cleaning your bedroom. You both were such big helpers and Trevor you did a happy dance when you saw that I was re-arranging the furniture, which gave you a bigger play area. You both helped me gather up toys and truely were helpers. We played a game while we worked also, I would ask you each to get an item of clothing and you knew shoes, hat, pants, shirt, and socks. It was alot of fun and Tyler you were so goofy putting on your winter hat and one slipper...You sure thought you looks adorable and you were right!!!!!

Potty ups and downs

I never realized that potty traning was so so so much work. It seems like we take trips into the bathroom sometimes 12 times in an hour. When I am to the point where I feel like I can't do this anymore, one of you always ends up going in the potty and every second we spend running to the potty ends up being worth it. Trevor, you have learned the word Potty which you say everytime you think you have to go. You tend to think you have to go ALOT...... But once you do actually go, it is all worth it!!!!!

so many Milestones

You boys have been having so so so many milestones this past week.. It is just amazing how much you have grown and are learning each day. You have both decided that you want to be big boys. Yesterday for the first time you both sat at the kitchen table rather than in your high chairs. I was a little hesitant and wasn't sure how well this would go. But to my surprise, you both climbed up on the chairs and sat there so perfect with your plate and forks. I was SO proud of my little gentlemen!!!!

I made you a big breakfast this morning with eggs, sausage, and toast-which you both just loved. Tyler you made my heart melt when your elbow accidently bumped your plate and your food hit the floor. You were so startled and upset. The expression you made was so precious and you said "Uh O" and then you looked up at me with your big brown eyes and yelled "Mamma" as you watched your dogs gobble up your food. It was so so so precious and you sincerely felt so bad. I dished you up a new plate of food and you almost seemed hesitant like you didn't deserve another plate... This truely was a moment!!!! We cuddled for a few minutes and then you were ok to sit back at the table... You are such an amazing little boy.

MANY MILESTONES

The boys have been having MANY milestones these past weeks.... The kids have learned how to climb out of their cribs, so it won't be long before we have to set up the toddler bed...Trevor did the most precious thing last night- He crawled into Tylers crib in the middle of the night!!! It was so darling when Tyler called for me in the morning when he woke up and I walked in to find both kids in the same crib.... They both had huge smiles and they had slept the whole night!!!!!!!! And then the next morning I found Tyler in Trevor's crib... It is VERY precious.....

Tyler used the potty for the first time last Friday.. This was truely one of the most exciting moments and he must have thought so also because he just stood up and started clapping after he went.. He has gone both number 1 and 2 on the potty already and has even worn the same pull-up for a whole day without any accidents.... Trevor decided he would try also and ended up using the potty on Sunday.. This was so exciting!!!!!.. I feel so blessed being able to experince this with 2 kids at once.. Some days sure are overwhelming.. The boys can have 10 false alarms before they actually go and this is sure exhausting re-dressing the kids after each time......... But it is so worth all the trial and errors for that once time they do go... That is so special!!!!!
