Birthday at the ZOO

The boys had a WONDERFUL second Birthday!!! Grandma and Grandpa Gammel came with us to Como Zoo... and we had so much fun seeing all the animals and the boys loved riding the carousel!!! Half way through the ride, Tyler was waving to everyone!!! Both kids were just beaming with excitiment as the horses went up and down.. It was So much fun for mommy and daddy too!!!!!!
We started the day by stopping to visit Grandma at her school- and she had a fun surprise for the boys!!! It was track and field day at school and they had those huge blow up jumpy things in the back of the school... The boys had a blast jumping in them!!! Trevor started doing tricks and the kids kept giggling as they stood up to jump and then fell back wards... It was very cute!!! We spent rest of the evening at the zoo and then headed off to Old Country buffet for super. It was delicious!!!! By the time we got the kids loaded back in the van- they were almost out. It was a very fun-filled and wonderful day!!!!! Happy Birthday, my precious boys!!!!!!!!

TWO!!!!!!!!!

WOW- you boys are already TWO!!! Time has flown by so fast. You both continue to amaze your daddy and me everyday. We have been through endless milestones over these past 2 years and it has been SO special sharing each experince with you.. You both are getting over pneumonia- so we have been through some wrestless nights these past few days. You both love the outdoors and expecially riding on the lawn mower!!! You both are SUCH great helpers around the farm, and eventhough sometimes the jobs take twice as long, it is still way more fun having you guys help.
Mommy made cupcakes for your birthday and you both tried so hard to blow our your candals!!! Your favorite thing was playing with the balloons-until the strings detached went up to the ceiling. Your birthday was VERY special-reminissing on all the joy and precious moments you both have given us. Having these wonderful memories is priceless. You boys mean the world to us!!!!!

DULUTH

There were awesome waterfalls right near the zoo.. The kids had so much fun touching the water... The second picture is priceless.. Trevor was trying to get Tyler to take his had to walk across the path.. It was SO dear!!!!!! The boys had a blast feeding the birds.. It is truely crazy, how you can see just 1 bird flying and once you throw that one piece of bread- you get a whole swarm of birds!!! There had to have been 50 birds around us. It was hilarious watching them flying right above our heads and when you threw a piece of food in the air-these birds would catch it!!!!! SO NEAT!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Mothers Day

Mother's day was perfect!!! Duluth was having fun Mother's day events at their zoo, so we took a drive up there. Kids could bring their favorite stuffed animals with and take them to the area in the zoo where they were doing a stuffed animal clinic.. They examine the stuffed animals and put band-aids on any owies. It was so precious!!! Tyler told the women that his animals name was kitty and that she had an owie on her back...So she got a bandage on her back... Trevor said he stuffed animal was monkey and he didn't have any owies... It was SO SO SO neat.. They each got a certificate for their stuffed animals too.....and the first 200 moms through the doors also got a free flower, which was so pretty!!!! Then we went out to the petting zoo area. We had so much fun feeding the animals. The boys like the baby goats best. It was so neat seeing the grizzley bears and we watched them devour a whole fish!! Both the boys said "Pumpkin" when they saw the large cats... yes, that is a VERY large pumpkin!!!!!! The zoo was so neat and there were so many fun things to see and do!!!!
