Yesterday I needed to run downstairs to throw in a load of laundry and the boys were busy playing with toys so I thought it would be a good time to sneak away. All of a sudden I hear the sound of bags and rustling noises on the baby monitor. I raced up stairs thinking that they must have gotten into the pull out drawers that have the pastic zip lock bags in them... But when I got upstairs, Tyler was sitting around a pile of candy and he has a whole chocolate Heresy’s kiss in his mouth, Trevor is holding the empty bag and Bagels is tearing the rappers off of the candy. When I went to get the Heresy’s kiss out of Tyler’s mouth, he gave me the biggest gopher cheek smile. I guess when you have a chocolate craving; two heads work better than one to find it. ( ha ha)

Here is a funny story… The other day when I was sitting in my rocking chair pumping, I had Trevor trying to grab at my tubing and was being very fussy. Then all of a sudden he lost interest in what I was doing and decided that he would try reaching for the TV remote. The remote was way back on the arm of the couch, so I wasn’t worried about him getting a hold of it… Then all of a sudden Trevor gave out a loud squeal and was lying on his tummy half way on the couch with his arms waving out to the sides. I look down and see that the clever little guy had used Tyler’s head as a step stool to get up on the couch. I was like oh my god, I was worried that Tyler may be getting hurt from Trevor standing on him. But when I looked down at Tyler, he just gave me one of his adorable giggles. I started to laugh so hard and wish that I had the video camera handy because that was a perfect picture moment!!!!!!
Here is our precious little Trevor. Trevor is starting to get his first 2 teeth. About a week after Tyler first tooth started to push through, Trevor’s first tooth started to show… Know both boys have their 2 bottom teeth showing. It is SO adorable. It is so adorable to see their huge smiles, as if they are showing off their new teeth. The kids are also starting to wake just once during the night.. Yippee.. Mommy finally gets some more sleep... That makes a good day for all of us ( ha ha).....
Tyler and Trevor received their very first package in the mail today from the Easter Bunny (grandma Nancy). When I brought the package into the house, both boys crawled over to it and started to push the box all over the living room. They were so excited to have received a fun new box to play with.... When daddy got home, he helped them cut open the top and they soon realized that there was more inside the box. You should have seen their precious expressions when they reached into the box and felt something soft... Trevor became so excited that he sort of laid his body onto the box and fell part ways in... It was hilarious and adorable... But Trevor didn't find the humor in it.... The boys each received an adorable stuffed rabbit and also cute shorts and tee shirts/one was cookie monster and the other was Elmo. These are going to be perfect for them to wear at the b-day party, since we are going with the cookie monster and Elmo theme...

10 MONTHS OLD
My precious boys, Tyler and Trevor… You guys are growing so fast. Mommy can’t believe that you are already 10 months old today. It seems like just yesterday that I was carrying you both in my belly. It was such a wonderful feeling carrying you both for almost 9 months. I knew that you were safe and I always had you right near me. I will never forget the wonderful feeling I had every time you both would make soft movements in my tummy as if to remind me that you were in there. It is amazing watching you both grow and change so fast. You both have learned so many things over these past 10 months and I have been blessed to experience these new discoveries with you. It is all these simple steps that make life so precious. You both make my heart melt every day with your soft smiles and just being around you both makes me so proud. It was adorable at breakfast thing morning when you both kept looking at each other and making noises back and forth. That was so adorable, but then Tyler you stuck your hand out to Trevor and he reached for you. That was a moment that was beyond adorable. My heart melted seeing that connection you both have for each other. Your brother connection is so strong and I hope that lasts forever. You both have a way of melting your daddy’s heart also. It is priceless seeing your expression when you become excited. Just last night when Daddy came home from work, you both started waving at him and squealed. It was so adorable and it sure made your Daddy’s heart melt.
Over these past 10 months I have been blessed to be at home with you both. I have been able to watch and experience every step in our journey together. Some days when Daddy works overtime the evenings get rough for me, especially when you are both going through these horrible teething times. On those rough evenings, we all sit on the floor with our blankets and I cuddle you both. Tyler, you always do this adorable thing when you get tired. You rub your little eyes and make these cute little coo noises trying to tell me that you just needed cuddles and your blanket. When I hand you your blanket (and you always knew which blanket was yours) you wave your arms and giggle. Trevor, you always begin story telling when you got tired. You lie in my arms looking up at me, and just start chattering away. Your little expressions and soft noises are priceless. No matter how rough or long our evenings are some nights; I wouldn’t change even a second of the time that we were able to spend together. You both are my world and I love you both more than you will ever know.
Until you have children, you truly have no idea what that kind of love feels like. I knew that I would love my children… but I never imagined that it could feel like this. You boys have changed our lives forever and I can’t even imagine how life was before you were born. You are the best little boys that a mommy and daddy could ever hope for… And I never want you to forget that!!! You boys have filled a place in our heart that we never knew was empty. I love you my precious boys

The boys had a fun play day yesterday with their friend Samantha. Tyler wouldn't lay down for a nap all morning, so I was worried that he would be very fussy when they got to our house, but luckily he was in a very good mood. Tyler was so excited to see Tina and gave her many wet drooly kisses. It was adorable... Trevor woke up from his nap soon after they got to our house and was all smiles when I brought him out to the living room.
Paul and I went to a fun ECFE garage sale this past weekend and found some new toys for the kids. They love this adorable plastic Zoo that we found. It has many fun zoo animals that you can make move and also a fun box inside for putting shapes into. The kids just love crawling through it!!! We also found two fun tables that have many activities on them such as shapes, making things spin, and singing. And one of the toys I found is already getting annoying. I found a neat play telephone and though of Tyler because he loves playing with the telephone at school... So I picked up this phone for $1.00 and on the car ride home the thing wouldn't stop making sounds.... The whole telephone moves and vibrates when it rings and of course this is a toy that doesn't have an on off switch.. ( ha ha)...
Well, the kids and I have been counting down the days to be able to play out on the deck... and of course we had to get MORE snow!!!!! YUK.... I was so excited that we were finally able to see some grass.. and know today we have enough snow that we need to shovel...

BOYS FIRST TEETH
Trevor is starting to get his first tooth!!! His is coming in on his bottom right side and Tyler's first tooth is on his bottom left side.. I think that is so neat!!! The kids have been somewhat cranky with their teething, so those teething tablets have sure come in handy and have been working like magic.
We have been trying new finger foods with the kids and they are loving it. They love eating pieces of banana’s, strawberries, pears, and cheddar fish crackers. It is so fun watching their expressions and reactions as they taste news foods. Meal time has sure become more messy know that the kids want to hold the spoon...I think they need to start selling bibs that cover kids heads to help keep food out of their hair!!!!

Today Paul and I both attended a "Yeah Its Play day" class at the same school where I attend "Amazing Babies". The kids had a great time playing with new toys and meeting new kids. Tyler's expression in the top picture is priceless. He was having so much fun playing!!! The boys had alot of fun with their daddy also... Paul took them up into the large play house and the kids had a great time peeking through the railings on top and also crawling through the tunnel under the house. The boys also explored with the lego's and some toys called "little people"... In class we were given some very helpful information on babies teeth development and also tips for helping our little ones get through the whole cutting teeth process.....
Yesterday I got a fun haircut... I was getting so tired of long hair and wasn't able to do much of anything with it anymore... So I decided to get a short cut and really like it. It seems like it is going to be much easier to take care of and is a fun summer cut.... It was so nice getting out of the house for a little while without the kids and being able to get myself pampered. Daddy enjoyed the time he spent with the kids yesterday.. They read a Winnie the pooh story, watched the dogs play outside, played in the living room with toys, and daddy got to witness the mess the boys can make in the nursery...
Tyler's Getting His First Tooth
When Tyler woke up on Sunday morning, (March 9th) he gave me his normal big smile and I saw his first Tooth starting to push through... I was SO excited!!!! I had been wondering why he had such a restless night and had woken up so many times during the night.. I guess it was because his tooth was pushing through.... Paul ended up working a double shift on Sunday night, but when he got home I was so tempted to wake Tyler so Daddy could see his first tooth.... but that thought lasted just a few minutes and decided that Daddy would just have to wait until Monday to see the tooth...( ha ha)..

The kids are sure hard to tell apart in this picture.. (Trevor left, Tyler right).... I can't believe that my babies are almost 10 months old!!!!!! Time is just going by way to fast!!!! The kids had a very busy morning of pulling out diapers and also learning how to open up their dresser. The boys were so proud of themselves this morning to finally be able to pick out the clothes that they want to wear. I guess what they don't realize yet is that they just need to take out one outfit each, not a whole dresser full of clothes ( ha ha)....
One of the boys favorite toys is their Elmo hand puppet. They both sat on the living room floor this morning and just giggled away as I used the puppet. It is so adorable watching the excitment this simple toy brings to them. Another things the boys love are books. We try to set aside story time everyday, but of course the boys can only sit still for a short amount of time, so some books take a few days to get through. ( ha ha)... Tyler also loves to flip through stories by himself. He will plop down in the living room with a book and tries to flip through the pages. His expressions are priceless when he pushes the sound buttons on the sides of the stories. He become so excited and will give a cute grin or soft giggle. Trevor will then notice the fun Tyler is having and crawls over to investigate, but Tyler doesn't seem to appreciate Trevor's help in turning the pages.

Here is a picture of Tyler and Trevor at their Amazing Babies class. I wish I would have taken this picture the moment the kids got on this new toy, because both boys were giggling and squealing with excitment as I pushed them around in circles.... As you can tell Trevor had about enough and was ready to get off... and the picture was sure hard to take with Tyler waving his arms so fast with excitment... I took a few pictures, but this was the only one that didn't turn out blurry...
The boys had alot of fun in class today I couldn't belive how independent Trevor was today. As soon as I took his snow suit off, he crawled to the other side of the room to check out the toys. He had never crawled so far away from me.. Poor Mommy.. I wasn't quiet ready for that..... But it was adorable to watch him as he explored and tested out new toys that he had never seen before. They had this neat large wood play house that has some tunnels and things on it, and Trevor actully adventured around it and even crawled through the tunnels and attempted to climb up the stairs..... I can't belive how independent my little guy is becomming....... and Tyler, he did the most precious thing today also.....
One of the mom's brought her mom with to class today and when she smiled and said hi to Tyler, Tyler started to crawl over to her. He looked back at me as he crawled, and kept getting closer and closer to her. When he was within arms reach, he stuck out his hand and used her shoulder to pull himself up. She then picked Tyler up and you should have seen it.... All of a sudden his little lip started to quiver and he looked terrified. He though the women was his grandma Karen, because this woman had some similar characteristcs to her.... When he realized that he didn't know who this was, he began to cry so hard. She quickly handed Tyler back to me and he started to feel better... Then for rest of the class time, Tyler just started at the women and would give her little smiles, but he had no intentions of crawling anywhere near her... So for the rest of the class Tyler didn't leave my lap. He would reach out to choose a new toy and would crawl right back into my arms...... It was the most precious thing!!!!!!!

Play Date
The boys had another play date with their friend Samantha yesterday. It was so adorable watching the boys crawl after Samantha's shoe laces. She kept backing up and the boys just kept crawling after her. It was such a precious moment.... The play date started a little later than planned, since all of the kids decided to take long naps... It was a good thing though, because everyone was in a great mood.. It was so fun watching Samantha walk all over the house trying to figure out which toys to play with. I can only imagine how exciting this would be, since all the boys toys are new to her. After a little while, the kids decided to hang out at the patio window and they all started tapping on the glass and waving at the kittens outside.....It was very cute...
When it was time for Samantha to leave, the kids started to crawl after her and she just started to giggle. As she sat down to put her hat on, Trevor started to tackle her and ended up taking off her hat. It was so adorable and Samantha just sat their giggling. It was sure a precious moment.
Tina and I had a great time chatting while our kids played. It is so nice having another mom to talk with and to spend time with. Since we are both first time moms, we are both going through alot of the same things so it really helps having another mom to talk with and to offer eachother suggestions and ideas.

Hold on Tight Trevor!!!
I was so glad I was able to get my camera out in time to capture this precious moment!!! Both boys had so much fun yesterday moving the car around the house, and Tyler sure had fun helping Trevor when it was his turn on the car.
It is so adorable how close Tyler and Trevor are. Recently, we have noticed a stronger conection between the boys. When one of the kids is napping and the other one is awake, we have noticed that the one who is awake seems to look for his brother. It is so precious!!! Just yesterday afternoon Tyler woke up from his nap some what fussy and we couldn't seem to figure out what the problem was. As soon as Trevor woke up, Tyler became his normal happy self. And the smiles the boys give eachother is priceless...
Making my own baby food is working out so great and is sure saving us alot of money. The kids love the food and it works so great to mix everything in with their cereal. I had no idea how much 2 little guys could pack away. I can't imagine how much they will eat when they get older!!!!
We just have 2 classes left in "Amazing Babies" and then there will be a 2 week break before the second half of the class begins. It is a bummer because all of the other kids we are currently in the class with are all turning ONE within the next few weeks, so my kids are the only ones that will be left in the "Amazing Babies" class... and so far no other new moms have signed up for the class... If they don't get more moms, they won't be having the second half of the class.. so I will am going to start looking into other class possibilites for the boys.
