The boys had a fun adventure outside today. After our stroller ride, I let the kids play in the front yard. Trevor was very interested in the grass and put it right into his mouth. He made a sour face when it first touched his tongue, but decided he better taste another piece to just made sure. Tyler had fun petting Truffles and that kept him busy for a little while. I am so glad that both kids love the outdoors. There are going to be so many fun things to do outside this summer.. I can’t wait!!!

Getting So Big
Ever since the boys took their first steps, they seem to be on the move. Trevor took about 15 steps yesterday and Tyler walked all the way from our patio window into the living room. He took a few spills on the way, but just kept getting back up. The boys get so excited when they are walking. Tyler will stop dead in his track and begin clapping and giggling. It is so precious that I start to laugh and he just giggles harder and harder. Our little boys are growing so fast!!!! Every stage just happens ways to fast.... Last night the boys and I shared a very special moment. We were all sitting in the living room and Tyler began doing a clicking noise with his tongue... just a few seconds later Trevor started to do the same thing.. So them I joined in and we were all taking turns clicking our tongues. Tyler thought it was the funniest thing and started to giggle until he had tears in his eyes. It was such a precious moment.
I blended up some more baby food today and learned that the kids love sweet potatoes mixed with rice. It sure looks nasty, but the boys love it. I can’t believe how much 2 little boys are able to pack away. I used to put the baby food I make into baby jars, but know I found it to be easier to put the food into those large yogurt containers. We go through the food so fast that it takes less time to just put it all into one larger container.
The kids and I spent a lot of time outside yesterday. We first went for a long stroller ride in the morning. The boys had a lot of fun babbling back and forth and Tyler gave out a few squeals. When the stroller ride was over, I took the kids over to our horses to see what they thought about them. Both boys reached their hands out as if they wanted to pet the horses, but after Deva let out a loud nay, both kids seemed slightly scared…. After our morning adventure, Tyler and Trevor easily went down for their naps, which lasted for about an hour and a half. When they woke up, I took some of their toys out onto the deck and we had fun outside. The second I put them down, the kids crawled off in opposite directions to see what they could get into…

Just 10 months old and Walking
Trevor took 10 steps this morning and was so proud of himself that he let out a loud squeel once he reached me. Tyler walked about 6 steps and became so excited that he toppled over. It is so exciting watching these little guys walk around!!! Trevor is so precious to watch because he will stand up, look over at us with a huge smile, take a few steps, and then look back at us to make sure we are watching. It is so adorable...
I gave the boys their baths this morning and neither of them wanted to get out of the tub. It is so fun watching how excited they get when their feet touch the water and once they are in the tub the splashing and squeeling begins. Tyler splashed so hard that I had to change clothes once bathtime was over. Trevor loves those letters that you can stick to the side of the tub. I showed him how you can put them on the side of the tub and they will stick, and he actually took one of the letters from my hand and put it on the side of the tub. I said "good job Trevor" and he just gave me the largest grin. It was so cute....

Today the boys and I had so much fun outside. I put on my roller blades and pushed the kids up and down the driveway for over an hour today. It was so nice out and the kids loved it. Tyler and Trevor babbled back and forth to each other and Tyler would turn around to check on Trevor and then they would giggle. It was so precious. These little guys seem to already have started their own language they just they understand. It is very cute. Then after our stroller ride, the kids took their nap so I had time to clean their new toy that we got at a garage sale last year. I washed it up and brought it up on the deck. When the boys woke up, I dressed them in some cute summer clothes along with their flip-flops and we all went outside to play. They loved the slide so much!! Trevor squealed the first time I put him on it. I then turned to check where Tyler was crawling off to and picked him up just before he put his hands into the dog dish. Then I turned back and saw Trevor climbing up the stairs to the slide all by himself. I said “Trevor” and he looked at me and just giggled. I then put Tyler on the slide and he also let out a loud squeal as he slid down. I am not sure who had more fun outside, the kids or me. We all had a great time. It is just precious seeing their excited expressions.
BOYS FIRST STEPS
The boys took their very first steps April 1st!!!! Tyler was so proud of himself that he just giggled and squealed along with us…He ended up taking a total of three steps forward…. Trevor stood in the kitchen holding onto his toy and took one step towards us. He was also very proud of himself…. The boys are growing way to fast….
The boys went to their very first Birthday party last Saturday. The party was for their cousin’s Jackson and Addison, who turned 1 years old!!! Both boys seemed to have fun, but were also overwhelmed with all the new exciting things around them. Trevor ended up going downstairs with Daddy half way through the party to just unwind. Downstairs Trevor had a blast playing with Jackson and Addison’s toys, since everything was fun and new to him. When we got home, both kids were very restless, but once they fell asleep, the kids slept through the night.. Yeah!!!!
