Ever since the boys took their first steps, they seem to be on the move. Trevor took about 15 steps yesterday and Tyler walked all the way from our patio window into the living room. He took a few spills on the way, but just kept getting back up. The boys get so excited when they are walking. Tyler will stop dead in his track and begin clapping and giggling. It is so precious that I start to laugh and he just giggles harder and harder. Our little boys are growing so fast!!!! Every stage just happens ways to fast.... Last night the boys and I shared a very special moment. We were all sitting in the living room and Tyler began doing a clicking noise with his tongue... just a few seconds later Trevor started to do the same thing.. So them I joined in and we were all taking turns clicking our tongues. Tyler thought it was the funniest thing and started to giggle until he had tears in his eyes. It was such a precious moment.
I blended up some more baby food today and learned that the kids love sweet potatoes mixed with rice. It sure looks nasty, but the boys love it. I can’t believe how much 2 little boys are able to pack away. I used to put the baby food I make into baby jars, but know I found it to be easier to put the food into those large yogurt containers. We go through the food so fast that it takes less time to just put it all into one larger container.
The kids and I spent a lot of time outside yesterday. We first went for a long stroller ride in the morning. The boys had a lot of fun babbling back and forth and Tyler gave out a few squeals. When the stroller ride was over, I took the kids over to our horses to see what they thought about them. Both boys reached their hands out as if they wanted to pet the horses, but after Deva let out a loud nay, both kids seemed slightly scared…. After our morning adventure, Tyler and Trevor easily went down for their naps, which lasted for about an hour and a half. When they woke up, I took some of their toys out onto the deck and we had fun outside. The second I put them down, the kids crawled off in opposite directions to see what they could get into…
