Trevor navigating and Tyler Driving!!!!

We had a blast this weekend garage saling with the kids. Tyler LOVES helping daddy drive the golf cart and Trevor is our little navigator!!!! The boys were tons of fun to have out with us. In the beginning Tyler didn't want to leave the cart, but he soon realized that he just had to leave to walk around at the sale and then he would be right back in the drivers seat. Trevor is a great garage saler. He held mommy hand and would walk all around the sale just looking, and if he did find somthing he like, he would pick it up to look at it and then put it right back!!! It was SO much fun this weekend and we sure had some great family bonding time!!!!!

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

The boys had so much fun at the Children's Museum, and so did mommy and daddy!!!! One of the boys favorite shows is Clifford the Big Red Dog.. so this was PERFECT!!! One whole floor had the clifford exhibit. The kids were able to visit bird well island and climb on, under, and through objects that they see on the everyday show!!! It was SO neat!!!! and then we went to explore another area that had tons of things to climb on.. The boys are both our little monkeys, so this was also alot of fun... They also had a fun area that had tons of underground caves that even Mommy and Daddy crawled through.. and let me tell you.. this is MUCH easier for kids to climb under than adults!!!! It was very smooshy and sweaty in there and I seriously have no idea how your Daddy didn't get stuck!!!! and Grandma Nancy sure got a kick out of watching us chase after the boys through there!!!!! Lastly, we went to the water area, which the boys didn't want to leave.. They would have been happy spending MANY more hours there- we will definelty be taking another trip there...oh, and I almost forgot.. after this whole fun day.. the kids slept through the WHOLE night!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

HAPPY EASTER

The boys had so much fun on their Easter Egg hunt in the back yard. Tyler picked up a few eggs right away and put them into his basket. Trevor thought he was pretty sneaky (as you can tell in the first picture) as he took the eggs that were in Tyler's basket and put them into his basket... Trevor then stood back and said WOW as he saw all the eggs he had!!! It was SO cute!!!! After they collected all of their eggs, the kids had so much fun opening each egg and eating their snacks... It was VERY fun!!!!

OUTDOOR FUN

The boys had so much fun outside these last few days and it sure helps them burn off more energy!!! When grandma and Grandpa came to visit last month, Grandpa hung the horse swing, which is the same swing that he had made me when I was little. It is so special that you boys are now using it!!!! Tyler loves to swing and has learned the word push very quickly. If the swing slows down even a tiny bit, he tells me push and then he giggles and yells wee!!!!... it is so precious!!!!! and Trevor is our little explorer and climber. Trevor's adventure began with talking to the horse. He waved to her and said hi and he was so excited when she gave out a nay... He giggles and pointed to her... and then told her Bye when he was heading off to find somthing else to explore. He wondered over to see if he could find some cats. He saw Toby under the deck furniture and began crawling after him, and when he realized that Toby could move much quicker, he began wondering the rest of the yard just exploring...... and WOW, it is a battle trying to get the kids to come back in the house.. Tyler hung onto the swing rope so tight and just kept shaking his head no... It is going to be a blast this summer when we can spend every second outdoors.....

NEW WORDS

Tyer and Trevor- you boys have learned so many works recently. One of the most special words you have learned is Grandma, and it sure melts their hearts when your sweet voices say this word..

When driving in the car with you boys, mommy knows where every horse, cow, duck, bird, and geese are. You make sure to say all the animals names as we pass them, which is so neat and the most special part of this is hearing the excitement in your voices when you talk and discover new words. The other day we had geese in our front yard and it was just amazing how excited you both were. I just LOVE how simple things bring you both so much joy!!!

I can't even keep up with how fast you both are learning. Tyler you are a wiz at puzzles and LOVE to sit and read books. Both of you love animal books- you bring them over to me and we cuddle while you point to different animals and say their names. You both take me by surprise every day with new words!!! Tyler-your favorite character right now is Bob the Builder and Trevor you love Cars and Curious George. A few of your favorite words right now are Cars, horse, Papa, Grandma, Bagels, Maggie, Pumpkin, Apple, geese, cold out, jacket, hat, clifford, book, puzzle... and tons more... I feel so lucky and blessed to be experiencing each day with you boys and I am so proud of you both!!!!!

It Boken

Trevor was so precious the other day. When a toy comes apart or a puzzles piece won't fit, Trevor walks up to us and says "it boken"!! It is SO cute!!!! The other day he was trying to get a piece to fit back onto his peek a boo block wagon and it just won't fit. He walked over to daddy with the most adorable expression ( his lip was pouty and he looked so sad from trying so hard to get it back together) Trevor handed daddy the piece and said "its boken"...Gosh, this was SO cute!!!!!

EASTER EGG HUNT

The VFW in Isanti had their Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, and it was so perfect because Grandma Nancy was visiting this day, so she came with us. As we got out of the van I saw all of these kids carrying their Easter Baskets- and couldn't believe that I didn't even think about that... But like Grandma Nancy said- it is our first time doing this.. We registered the kids as soon as we got there and were given 2 tickets for the Easter Basket drawing.. and guess what!!!! We won an Easter basket that had some candy and a ball in it.. The kids were SO excited about their new ball!!!!! and after the drawing it was time for the Easter egg hunt.. As you can see in the first picture- the boys are SO ready to take off and get the eggs.. They had the hunt orgnaized by age groups so for the younger kids, the eggs were scattered all over the place. The boys each were able to grab 1 Easter egg before they were all grabbed up. It was a little irritating because some parents were loading up their kids baskets, which didn't allow all the kids to even get eggs, so the directior took the kids who didn't get many eggs into the building and gave them some. The kids had fun sitting at the picnic table checking out their eggs, and then we headed back inside to take a peek at the Easter Bunny. The kids did not want to get down to see him. Trevor was ok with saying Bye to the Easter Bunny, but that was about all..

ECFE CLASS

The theme for last weeks ecfe class was rain and the kids made some very cute projects. Tyler really loves water colors and actually dips his brush very carefully in the water and even keeps the brush on the paper.. I had a great time at class also. I met a very nice mom in class today and we are going to get together for a play date with our kids!!!
