The VFW in Isanti had their Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, and it was so perfect because Grandma Nancy was visiting this day, so she came with us. As we got out of the van I saw all of these kids carrying their Easter Baskets- and couldn't believe that I didn't even think about that... But like Grandma Nancy said- it is our first time doing this.. We registered the kids as soon as we got there and were given 2 tickets for the Easter Basket drawing.. and guess what!!!! We won an Easter basket that had some candy and a ball in it.. The kids were SO excited about their new ball!!!!! and after the drawing it was time for the Easter egg hunt.. As you can see in the first picture- the boys are SO ready to take off and get the eggs.. They had the hunt orgnaized by age groups so for the younger kids, the eggs were scattered all over the place. The boys each were able to grab 1 Easter egg before they were all grabbed up. It was a little irritating because some parents were loading up their kids baskets, which didn't allow all the kids to even get eggs, so the directior took the kids who didn't get many eggs into the building and gave them some. The kids had fun sitting at the picnic table checking out their eggs, and then we headed back inside to take a peek at the Easter Bunny. The kids did not want to get down to see him. Trevor was ok with saying Bye to the Easter Bunny, but that was about all..
